Iran vs Pakistan War Conflict Death, Air Strike Latest News Today: A day after Iran launched airstrikes targeting a jihadist group based in Pakistan, Islamabad, has retaliated with multiple strikes inside Iran.
As per a Pakistani military source, "Pakistan targeted Baloch terrorists in Iran through its airforce in the Saravan and Jalq areas, deep inside Iran." It has also been reported that several locations were targeted by the Pakistani forces inside Iran.
However, there has been no official word from either Pakistan or Iran about the alleged air strike. Earlier on Wednesday, Pakistan's foreign ministry claimed that 2 children were killed while 3 others were injured in an "illegal" air strike by Iran. Likewise, Pakistan responded to the attack and expelled the Iranian ambassador in Islamabad, recalling its envoy from Tehran.
In the meanwhile, the Iranian state media reported that Iran targeted two camps of the Jaish al-Adl terror group in Balochistan's Panjgur region. Reportedly, Tehran had previously linked the jihadist group with attacks on its security forces.
On the other hand, the US also condemned Iran's strike in Pakistan and Tehran's missile attacks in Iran and Syria. Similarly, China also urged both Tehran and Islamabad to exercise restraint.
Moreover, India stated that it understands the "actions that countries take in their self-defense". The conflict between Iran and Pakistan appears to escalate at a time when the crisis in the Red Sea over trade disruption continues to build up.
