Marathon Runner Jagjit Singh honored with 'Sikh Athletic Personality of the Year' Award in London
Event was attended by senior dignitaries from the UK Parliament & Administration
LONDON: Sikh Forum International, a partner of the Guru Nanak International Education Trust, celebrated the coronation of King Charles III at the Old Hall, Lincoln's Inn, London. Various Sikh personalities were honored on this occasion.
On this occasion, marathon Sikh runner Jagjit Singh was given the honor of Sikh athletic personality of the year. The Sikh runner was presented with the honor by the Honorable Lord John Stevens QPM, High Commissioner of India Vikram Doraiswamy and Sikh Forum International President Ranjit Singh OBE.
The Event was attended by senior dignitaries from the UK Parliament and administration, as well as influential Sikh personalities from Britain and abroad. The award is presented by Sikh Forum International - a cultural and charitable organization whose mission is to promote the cultural heritage of Sikhism and spread the message of peace and universal brotherhood. Global President of The Sikh Forum International Ranjit Singh OBE presided over the event.
