In this list, Punjabi origin, Dr. Sunita Siddhu Dhindsa has also been selected for the 'Order of Australia' award. There is a wave of happiness in the Punjabi community with this news.
The list includes the names of a total of 12 Indian-origin Australian citizens, who have been selected for the award for their work in various fields. Dr. Sunita Siddhu Dhindsa will be honored with 'Order of Australia' (O.A.M.), India's equivalent of Padma Shri, for social service.
