SpaceX Postpones Falcon 9 Launch of Axiom-4 Mission to International Space Station
SpaceX on Wednesday morning postponed the Falcon 9 launch of Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4) to the International Space Station to allow additional time for its teams to repair a liquid oxygen (LOx) leak. The launch was originally scheduled for June 11 from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
In a post on X, SpaceX wrote, “Standing down from tomorrow’s Falcon 9 launch of Ax-4 to the @Space_Station to allow additional time for SpaceX teams to repair the LOx leak identified during post-static fire booster inspections. Once complete – and pending Range availability – we will share a new launch date.”
The new launch date will be announced once the repairs are complete and the range is available.
