Tragic Accident in Nigeria Claims 20 Lives as Bus & Truck Collide

LAGOS: A devastating accident occurred yesterday in Lagos state, Nigeria, when a passenger bus collided with a truck, resulting in the tragic loss of 20 lives. The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) confirmed this unfortunate incident, shedding light on the details surrounding the collision.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the accident transpired as the bus driver attempted to overtake a sand-laden tipper truck. However, in the process, the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to a direct collision with the truck.
