New Delhi: Tanzanian President John Magufuli has declared the country corona-free. Announcing this, he said that it was possible only due to the grace of God. However, he appealed to the people of the country to be vigilant.

John Magufuli made the announcement at a church in the country's capital, Dodoma.

President John Magufuli also celebrated the liberation from the mask. "This is a great sign that the country is now out of the threat of an epidemic and the fear of the people is gone," he said.

Last week, President John Magufuli said there were now only four corona virus patients left in a major city hospital. However, according to the World Health Organization, Tanzania has not released any data on the corona virus since April 29.
