LAHORE: Chief of 'Khalistan Commando Force' Paramjit Singh Panjwar alias Malik Sardar Singh has been shot dead in Lahore. Two unidentified gunmen opened fire on him in Johar town of Lahore, Pakistan. At around 6 in the morning, while Paramjit Singh was walking near his house in Sunflower Society in Johar Town, two unidentified men on a motorcycle shot at him along with his gunman.

Paramjit Singh Panjwar was involved in the smuggling of drugs and weapons through drones in Indian Punjab. Paramjit was born in Panjwar village near Tarn Taran. He joined the KCF in 1986 after being radicalized by his cousin Labh Singh, before whom he worked in a central cooperative bank in Sohal.
