Jammu and kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh snowfall news: Finally, the prominent mountain areas in the North India are covered with white snow. There are reports of fresh snowfall in Kashmir Valley, with Gulmarg and other tourist attractions covered with fresh snow. 

Apart from Gulmarg, Dudhpathri, Pahalgam, Gurez Pass and Sadhna Valley are also receiving the first snowfall of the season. Last year, Kashmir was one of the most visited places in the country and this year too it remains in the news.

Travelers from across the country and the world visit Kashmir, especially during the winter season, when the valley receives heavy snowfall. It has been reported that snowfall is also occurring in the upper areas of Kashmir Valley and Himachal Pradesh. 

Due to the latest round of snowfall, the temperature in the area of Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh has also dropped drastically.

In the chilly weather, Kashmir Valley is covered with a thick blanket of snow. Although it's freezing this time, what's surprising is that Gulmarg, known for being a favorite spot for skiers, is missing its usual snow-covered slopes. The mountains there, which are usually adorned with snow for skiing enthusiasts, are completely bare now. 

Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, expressed concern about this unusual weather condition in Gulmarg and even shared pictures on social media.

Himachal Pradesh Snowfall news: 

On the other hand, Manali, Shimla, Lahaul and Spiti, and Chamba, among other tourist places have also received fresh snowfall.
