Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey confirmed that district administrations in the affected areas have been put on high alert, while relief and rescue teams have been deployed to respond to any emergency situation.

The decision regarding the resumption of the Yatra will be taken only after a thorough review of weather conditions and road safety tomorrow said Pandey-
