Shri Badrinath Dham News: The portals of Shri Badrinath Dham in Uttarakhand will be closed for the winter today at today at 2:56 PM, according to news agency ANI.

The temple has been decorated with 12 quintals of marigold flowers. The process of closing the gates will begin at 1 PM.

The Shri Badrinath–Kedarnath Temple Committee has completed all preparations for the ceremonial closure. A large number of devotees have arrived at the shrine for this significant occasion, and over 5,000 devotees are expected to witness the closing of the temple gates.

Hemant Dwivedi, president of the Shri Badri-Kedar Temple Committee, the Kedarnath Temple, ahead of the Badrinath Dham closure ceremony, told PTI, "All traditional rituals and puja have been completed. Around 16.5 lakh pilgrims have visited this year. About 12 quintals of flowers were used for the decorations. Devotees from across India and abroad arrived here."
