Vigilance nabs 38 employees in bribery cases in two months
Chandigarh: State Vigilance Bureau, during its ongoing campaign against corruption, has been able to nab 38 officials of different departments red handed while accepting bribes in 30 trap cases during the month of May and June which includes 11 employees of revenue department, 5 police personnel, 6 of power and 16 belonging to other departments.
CM asked TET teachers to come to the table for talks instead of agitation

Pastor shot dead in Ludhiana
Ludhiana: The pastor of a church was shot dead by two motorcycle-borne assailants at Salem Tabri locality here late last night. The victim was identified as pastor Sultan Masih. Two armed youths with their faces covered shot at the pastor from a close range, police said today.
