The chairperson of Dera Sacha Sauda, Vipassna Insan has refused to join the interrogation and cited her poor health a major reason. In the morning, the SIT called Vipassna by sending her notice. According to the information, the SIT had planned to quiz Honeypreet and Vipassna together as today is the last day of police custody of Honeypreet.
However, Vipassna avoided the interrogation and refused to come to Panchkula today. According to the sources, the SIT suspected that the both Honeypreet and Vipassna may reveal the startling facts regarding the Dera Sacha Sauda. After the conviction of the Dera Sauda Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the violence erupted in Panchkula.
The police and the paramilitary forces have controlled the situation. In a three day search operation at Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa, the teams found the skeletons, demonitised currency, ammunition and illegal weapons. Moreover, the teams had found that the Dera had donated 14 bodies to a medical institute of UP.
Even the Haryana Health Ministry had ordered a probe into the donatin of the dead bodies by Dera. After the conviction of dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim on August 25, violence erupted in Panchkula. Earlier, the Panchkula police had asked Vipassana to share details regarding the cavalcade of cars that accompanied Gurmeet Ram Rahim on the day of his conviction in the rape case on August 25.
The police had impounded 56 vehicles that were part of his cavalcade after violence erupted in Panchkula and recovered a large number of weapons and other inflammable material.
The SIT want to ask Vipassana in connection with an FIR registered at the Sector 5 police station, in which the dera chief’s adopted daughter Honeypreet, dera’s spokesperson Aditya Insan and other top dera functionaries are accused of sedition and conspiracy of Panchkula violence.
