Ferozepur: A proclaimed offender (PO), involved in the killing of eigty members of
two families, tried to escape from police custody near Chuchak Vind
village, police said.
As the police vehicle reached near the
village, the man, identified as Malook Singh, suddenly grabbed the
driver of the jeep from the back, following which he lost balance, and
the police vehicle hit a Punjab roadways bus, which was coming from the
opposite direction, they said.
