The police have seized 78 boxes of wine of
different brands during a raid in Sandhpur village. The village was 35 km away from Inspector
Manjinder Singh says Dilbag Singh, who had been running an “illegal”
wine shop in the village, was arrested.
A case under Sections 61, 1 and14 under the Excise Act had been registered, he said.
