Punjab School Winter Timings News: Amid dropping temperatures and dense fog across Punjab, the school students were hoping for an extension in winter vacation holidays, however, the winter break has not been extended. Instead, Punjab Government has changed school timings starting January 1 till January 14.

As per the order, the timings of all government schools in Punjab have been changed from 10 am to 3 pm. In view of the Punjab's cold weather, the state government has taken this decision. The decision will remain effective from 1st to 14th January.

Notably, Punjab school students were hopeful that their winter vacation holidays would be extended. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. Punjab Government has changed the timings of the schools as the fog starts disappearing after 8 am and this gives an adequate amount of time for the students to go to school and stay safe.

Earlier, there were several reports making rounds on social media, claiming Punjab school winter vacation holidays have been extended till January 9, but these reports turned out to be false and baseless.
