DGP designates Nodal Officers to redress problems of armed forces personnel

Spokesman News Service, Chandigarh October 31: Acknowledging the genuine problems of army personnel serving in difficult areas at far-off places from their homes, Director General of Police, Punjab has designated Nodal Officers for the grievances of Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces personnel.
Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of Punjab Police said that Ishwar Singh, Additional DGP/Community Policing and V. Neerja, IGP/Community Policing have been designated as Nodal Officers for following up any such grievance pending in any district of the state pertaining to personnel of Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces. He added that these personnel can contact the Nodal Officers through email, telephone call or personal visit at any time.
