Punjab Police Rescues Kidnapped School Student from Himachal Pradesh: In a shocking incident, a case of the kidnapping of an innocent child while coming home from school was reported yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred in Shah Colony, a posh area of Pathankot, where a five-year-old child was abducted.
Upon learning of the incident, the police took immediate action, blockading all parts of the city to ensure the child’s safe recovery.
It was reported that the abductors had left a letter outside the house, which was found by the child's sister and brought inside. The letter demanded a ransom of Rs 2 crore and threatened execution if the police were informed.
In response, the police established contact with their counterparts in Himachal Pradesh, conducted a raid, and successfully recovered the child around midnight. The child was safely returned to his family.
The recovery has brought immense joy to both the family and the city, with residents celebrating and chanting slogans of "Punjab Police Zindabad" last night.
