Chandigarh Furniture Market Fire News Today: In a shocking incident, a major fire broke out in the furniture market in Chandigarh on Tuesday. As many as 4-5 shops were gutted in the fire. 

At the time of filing the news, there was no information about the cause of the fire. The fire tenders rushed to the spot and started their operation. Likewise, there has been no information about any immediate injury or casualty. 

In the meanwhile, the Chandigarh Traffic Police immediately announced a traffic diversion due to the fire incident at Furniture Market.

It stated, "The general public is being informed that due to a Fire broke-out at Furniture market, the road has been closed and traffic is being diverted at the following road stretch locations:-

➤from Furniture market Chowk (Sec 41/42/54/53) towards Mohali. 
➤ Phase-2 & 3 light point Mohali towards Furniture Market Chowk (Sec. 41/42/53/54 Chowk)

The fire brigade department and concerned officer are on the job. Further updates will be shared accordingly." 

On the other hand, a massive fire also broke out in Ludhiana's Hosiery Factory where the fire tenders rushed to the stop and controlled the fire.
