Chandigarh: Chief Minister Capt Amarinder recently announced that curfew would continue in Punjab for another two weeks. During this time relaxation will be given from 7 am to 11 am so that people can buy necessities. This means that it will be relaxed for only 4 hours.

The patients included a 19-year-old girl, a 65-year-old woman, a man aged 51, 40, 60 and 51 and a 20-year-old man. All are residents of Bapudham.

Apart from this, an elderly woman from Sector 38 also found to be positive. The total number of patients in the city has now reached 67.

In Chandigarh, 14 new infected patients were found breaking all previous records on Tuesday, while the Mohali Civil Hospital has been sealed after the death of a suspected corona patient on Wednesday morning. The gate of the Civil Hospital has been locked and public transport has been stopped.

Despite being the area of the Health Minister, Mohali has the second highest number of corona cases in Punjab while Jalandhar has the highest number of 85 cases.

All major hospitals in the city have been infected with the corona virus. Doctors and paramedics are constantly reporting cases of corona virus positive.

In the last four days, three doctors, two nursing officers and two ward boys have been attacked by Corona from these three main hospitals.
