SGPC Budget 2024 Latest News: In a major development, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) on Friday presented the Budget for the Sikh body of more than Rs 1,260 crores.
SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami presented the Budget for 2024-25 at the Teja Singh Samundri Hall of Golden Temple in Amritsar where he was accompanied by several ex-officio members.
Before presenting the SGPC Budget 2024, Harjinder Singh Dhami passed condolence resolutions over the loss of lives in recent times.
The SGPC budget has crossed the mark of Rs 1200 crores for the fiscal year 2024-25.
In the meanwhile, an amount of Rs 3 crore and 20 lakhs have been allocated to the Dharma Artha Fund to assist patients, educated the underprivileged children and help the weaker economic section of the society.
On the other hand, Rs 30 lakhs have been allocated for legal expenses while Rs 1 crore has been allocated for the General Board Fund, Rs 10 lakhs for Martyrdom Fund, Rs 80 lakhs for various purposes and Rs 40 lakhs for honor allowances for Singhs in jails.
