Punjab Police Arrests Associates of 'Jaggu Bhagwanpuria Gang' for Supplying Arms to Criminal Gangs Latest News: Jalandhar Commissionerate Police have recovered six pistols (.32 bore) from three associates of the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang, Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav said on Tuesday.
This recovery comes in addition to an earlier seizure of two pistols, bringing the total number of recovered weapons to eight (.32 bore).
The arrested individuals have been identified as Mankaran Singh Deol, Simranjit Singh, and Jaiveer Singh.
“Preliminary investigation reveals that the accused are close associates of the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang and had received the consignment from Madhya Pradesh,” DGP Yadav said in a post on X.
He added that the accused were involved in supplying weapons to various criminal gangs.
An FIR has been registered at Police Station Rama Mandi, and further investigations are underway to trace the wider network and linkages.
