MOHALI: With an aim to maintain Law & order and security in the state, Punjab police has issued necessary guidelines for the people. Now, strict action will be taken by the police department in case if illegal stickers or weapons photos will be pasted on vehicles in all the districts of Punjab. The department has prepared to impose a strict ban on weapons and other stickers of different departments on vehicles. 

Despite the ban, police, army, government guty or VIPs stickers on vehicles are becoming a trend. Taking a strict stance, a case under section 144 will be registered against people who violate the rule.

Despite the strictness, many cases have also come to light in which major incidents are carried out by using vehicles with such stickers. According to the latest directives, the police will also crack down on those who paste images of weapons and write provocative words on vehicles. Strict instructions have been given to the traffic police to deduct the challans of vehicles that promote gun culture.
