KHANNA: Khanna police busted an inter-state gang which was indulged in supplying arms to gangsters. One of its members was arrested and 5 pistols were recovered from his possession. The arrested accused, a resident of Jhajjar district of Haryana, used to supply arms to the gangsters in Punjab by bringing them from outside states. Khanna SSP Amneet Kondal has shared the information about this entire operation during a press conference. 

SSP Amneet Kondal said that a special campaign is going on to control the bad elements. Continuing this campaign, Inspector Amandeep Singh CIA In charge unmasked the inter-state gang which were supplying arms to gangsters. One of its members was arrested and 5 pistols were recovered.

She said that CIA staff Khanna received information about suspected person who is a resident of District Jhajjar (Haryana), carries illegal arms and has links with gangsters. The police party reached the spot and the arrested accused identified as Divesh was arrested. After searching Divesh's bag, many arms were recovered from it. SSP further said that the investigation so far has revealed that the accused Divesh has connections with gangsters from many outlying districts, along with whom he used to supply ammunition in Punjab. An in-depth investigation is being conducted regarding the accomplices of the accused, who may have important revelations in this matter. Currently, Divesh is being interrogated.
