PATHANKOT: Pathankot Police has exposed the scam involving fake job offers in Food Corporation of India (FCI). The police have arrested two accused who looted a total of Rs 89,52,000 from People. The cops have recovered fake appointment letters and fake cheques from their possession.

Among the arrested accused Dr. Rajkumar Kabir Das is a resident of Zirakpur. While giving information, Inspector Mandeep Salgotra, in charge of police station division number 1, said that Harpreet Singh had filed a written complaint with the police that in January 2022, he along with his friend Rajinder, had met Dr. Rajkumar Kabir Das who said that he is well known in government departments. He demanded Rs 6 lakh per person for giving direct job offers from FCI.

Reportedly, Harpreet Singh gave Rajkumar Rs 50,000 each. The accused took him to Patiala in September. Where they were given fake identity cards after filling the form. After elaborate investigation in the matter, the accused have been arrested by the police.
