Ferozepur: A young man riding an Activa was killed in a head-on collision between a tractor-trolley and an Activa near Lehra Island on the Makhu-Moga highway.
The collision near the village cemetery at 2 pm was so severe that the Scooter Activa No. PB08DT2936 broke in two pieces. The tractor spandler also broke there. The Sonalika tractor driver fled the scene.
The speeding tractor driver dragged the Activa and the injured youth along for several yards. As no documents other than SIM mobile were found in the pocket of the deceased, the Makhu police, who reached the spot, are taking necessary steps to identify the youth.
