Alongside the life sentence, each convict has been fined Rs 2 lakh by the court.
The decision follows a plea from Advocate HS Dhanoa, representing the victim, who urged the court to deliver the harshest punishment possible to ensure justice. The sentencing was announced during proceedings held on Monday evening.
