Chandigarh: Corona virus cases are coming to light in Punjab these days. There were 34 new cases registered on Monday. Out of these, 16 cases have been reported from Jalandhar, 6 from Amritsar, 5 from Pathankot, 2 from Ludhiana and one each from Kapurthala, Mohali, Tarn Taran, Sangrur and Patiala.

Among them, four nurses of a civil hospital, five migrants from Dada Colony, three members of the family of a businessman living in Lajpat Nagar and two of his close associates and a servant have also tested positive.

It may be recalled that the fourth phase of lockdown is underway in the country in which some relief has been given in view of the plight of the people. However, these reliefs are only available in areas where the number of cases of the corona virus is low.
