Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh

Chandigarh: 26th Feb'19: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, applauded the Indian Air Force for the action they undertook in the wake of Pulwama terror attacks. The Prime Minister had given a free hand to the armed forces after the deadly attack on them. It was after this that the forces took the matter in their own hands.

At around 3:30 am this morning, a dozen Mirage 2000 fighter jets carried out strikes on terrorist camps across Line of Control (LoC), with the target being joint training camps of Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen. It is reported that the strikes were successful and the IAF was able to destroy the camps.

Captain Amarinder Singh tweeted this morning and said, ” Great job by the #IndianAirForce. The #IAFStrikes have sent the much needed signal to Pakistan and the terrorists it’s harbouring - don’t think you can get away with acts like the #PulwamaAttack.
