The number of corona virus patients in Punjab is steadily increasing and there come some reports of relief in between this. The report of a corona patient admitted in the hospital of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar (Nawanshahr) in Punjab has now come back negative after which not a single corona patient has remained positive in the district.
Eighteen persons admitted in the Civil Hospital have been recovered. The report of 16-year-old Jaskaran Singh, who was admitted to a civil hospital in Nawanshahr, has now come negative. He is the grandson of Baldev Singh who died due to coronavirus in Nawanshahr.
Jaskaran Singh was discharged from the hospital with a bouquet of flowers and applause by the doctors, medical staff and police officers. It may be mentioned here that Baldev Singh was the first to return from abroad in Nawanshahr and tested positive for corona, after which his family and acquaintances tested positive for coronavirus and 19 people were tested positive.
Nawanshahr DC Vinay Bublani said that with the hard work of the administration and health department officials, they have been able to eradicate the corona infection. The cooperation and restraint of the people played an important role in this battle.
