BJP-Akali led centre govt. playing with the feelings of people with their fake promises-AAP
Spokesman News Service: Chandigarh, November 23, 2018: The Aam Aadmi Party on Friday raised question over Akali-BJP led centre govt's decision to scrap Banga-Mata Naina Devi costing Rs. 470 Crores. AAP termed the centre govt. as 'Alliance of Jumlebaazs'.
In a joint press statement issued from AAP headquarters, Ropar MLA Amarjeet Singh Sandoa and Anandpur Sahib MP candidate Narinder Singh Shergill said that just before the Punjab Vidhan Sabha elections, union minister Nitin Ghadkari while addressing a poll rally at Ropar promises to built 58.40 KM long Sri Anandpur Sahib-Mata Naina Devi road line but the govt.
has now stepped back from the promise. They said that the govt. by doing it has played with the feelings of lakhs of devotees visiting the shrine every year. They accused Sri Anandpur Sahib MP, Prem Singh Chandumajra of being partner in making fake promises to the people of Punjab.
AAP leaders said that it is shameful that Chandumajra is now trying to hide the fact by accusing the officers of centre govt. of stalling the project while people of state know that it is just an act of eyewash.Sandoa and Shergill askes Chandumajra if he accept that the officer lobby is running the centre govt. and elected representatives have no say in the functioning of govt.
They said if the situation is that worst then why dont Chandumajra and Harsimrat Badal resign from their seats and scrap the alliance with BJP. They said that the project carries historical, religious and financial importance so it should be built at any cost. AAP leaders said that the people of state as well as country are now fed up with the fake promises of the traditional politicians of Congress-BJP-SAD and will learnt a lesson in upcoming general elections.
