AMRITSAR: The Special Task Force has succeeded in busting the international drug trafficking network. STF has arrested a smuggler who was involved in the smuggling of arms and drugs from Pakistan. According to the information received, the STF has also recovered a Chinese drone from the arrested smuggler, with the help of which the Pakistani smugglers used to send the consignment of heroin to the Indian border.

A consignment of heroin of about 1.6 kgs has been seized from the accused, which he had ordered from Pakistan. Its price is said to be Rs 4 crore. The STF said that the accused Lakhvir Singh Lakha used to order goods from Pakistani smugglers by sending drones from India.

Notably, The STF has also recovered a 315 bore rifle, a .32 bore pistol from the arrested smuggler. The Arms has been taken into possession by the police. The police have registered a case against the arrested smuggler and started the investigation in the matter.
