Nabha Jail Break Case: Court Sentenced 22 Accused to 2-10 Years Imprisonment
Six have been acquitted in the case
NABHA: A total of 22 accused have been declared guilty and 6 acquitted in connection with the Nabha jailbreak case. The court of Additional Sessions Judge HS Grewal of Patiala pronounced its verdict in the case after 7 and a half years.
According to information, The accused have been sentenced under Sections 395, 120B, 223, 224, 467, 307, 148, 148, 186, 353 of the NDPC Act. It is worth noting here that this matter lasted for about 7 and a half years. The proceedings of the case were conducted daily on the basis of the orders issued by the High Court.
Accused Gurpreet Singh Mangewal, Manjit Singh, Gurjit Lada, Bhim Singh Assistant Jail Superintendent, Jagmeet Singh, Manjinder Singh, Sulkhan Singh, Gurpreet Singh Babbi Khera, Palwinder Singh Pinda, Bikar Singh, Harjot Singh, Ravinder Singh alias Giana, Gurpreet Singh Sekhon, Kiranpal Singh, Sukhchain Singh, Rajwinder Singh alias Raju, Kulwinder Singh Tibari, Sunil Kalra, Amandeep Singh Dhedian, Aman Kumar and two others are included in the court's list.
Naresh Narang, Jatinder, Mohammad Asim, Tejinder Sharma, Ravinder Vicky Sahota and Ranjit have been acquitted in the case.
