Punjab will showcase a tribute to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur during the upcoming Republic Day Parade in New Delhi on January 26. According to the report, the Ministry of Defence confirmed that 30 tableaux will roll down Kartavya Path during the 77th national celebrations.

The overarching themes for the 2026 parade are "Swatantrata ka Mantra: Vande Mataram" and "Samriddhi ka Mantra: Aatmanirbhar Bharat". These themes mark 150 years of the national song while celebrating India's self-reliance.

While Punjab honours the Guru’s legacy, the Indian Air Force (IAF) will showcase "Operation Sindoor", a decisive air action conducted against Pakistan in May last year. This flypast will feature fighter jets, including Rafale, Sukhoi-30MKI, MiG-29, and Jaguar.
