Earlier today, four schools in Gurdaspur received similar warnings. The threats come days ahead of the Republic Day 2026.

Once again, an atmosphere of fear has emerged in the Bamiyal sector along the India–Pakistan border. An email threatening to blow up the Degree College for Women, located near the border village of Bahadurpur in Pathankot district, has been received.

Students were immediately sent home, and a threat was issued warning against hoisting the national tricolour flag. Police rushed to the spot and are conducting an investigation.
