Punjab News Latest: In a significant anti-narcotics operation, Border Security Force (BSF) officials, in coordination with Punjab Police, successfully recovered more than five kilograms of heroin near the India-Pakistan international border in Amritsar district on Wednesday.

Following specific intelligence inputs, BSF personnel and Punjab Police initiated a joint search operation in the outskirts of Attari village in Amritsar. During the search, officials discovered a concealed stash of heroin carefully hidden in a bag. The recovered heroin, weighing over five kilograms, highlights the ongoing challenges posed by cross-border narcotics trafficking.
