Grief envelopes the region as families mourn the loss of Smail Singh & Akashdeep Singh


TARN TARAN: A Heart-Wrenching road accident, transpiring late into the night, has claimed the lives of two young individuals in a tragic collision. The two unfortunate victims are identified as Smail Singh, aged 14, the son of Sikander Singh from Naurangabad village in the Tarn Taran district, and Akashdeep Singh, aged 18, the son of Satpal Singh from Dhar village in the Amritsar district. The collision occurred when the motorcycles they were riding collided head-on near Dharar village, resulting in a collision so intense that it claimed both lives instantaneously.

Smail Singh was the only son of his parents, and his birth was a ray of hope following the tragic loss of his father, Sikander Singh, just six months prior. On the other hand, Akashdeep Singh leaves behind two siblings. The untimely demise of these two young men has cast a shadow of mourning over the community.

Notably, Local law enforcement from Jandiala Guru town swiftly arrived at the accident scene, undertaking the necessary legal procedures. The grieving families are now grappling with this profound loss, their hearts heavy with sorrow.
