Punjab Weather Update: Orange Alert Over Punjab; Here's What IMD said
Punjab did witnessed a light spell of rains brining respite from the humidity and heat.
Punjab Weather Update, IMD Forecast Latest News Today: As per India Meteorological Department (IMD), several areas in Punjab witnessed heavy rains with IMD issuing orange alert in the state for July 23.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD) update, a yellow alert was issued over Punjab on 22 July 2024. However, only a few regions recieved heavy rainfall in the state. Likewise, the IMD issued orange alert on July 23 and then yellow alert on July 24.
Recently, Punjab did witnessed a light spell of rains brining respite from the humidity and heat.
On July 22, weather forecast indicated a maximum temperature of 32°C and a minimum of 25°C. There is a slight chance of precipitation at 20%. Humidity levels are expected to be around 18%, accompanied by gentle winds blowing at 11 km/h.
