Amritsar, Punjab: In a major intelligence-based operation, the Amritsar Rural Police have arrested two individuals suspected of involvement in espionage activities linked to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

The accused have been identified as Gurpreet Singh alias Gopy Foji and Sahil Masih alias Shali. According to the Punjab Police, preliminary investigation has revealed that Gurpreet Singh was in direct contact with ISI operatives and is believed to have shared sensitive and confidential information via pen drives.

The operation also led to the identification of Rana Javed as the key ISI handler involved in the case. Two mobile phones, reportedly used to communicate with ISI operatives, have been seized by the police.

The Punjab Police stated that investigations are ongoing to dismantle the wider espionage-terror network and identify all individuals connected to this anti-national activity.
