Ashwani Sharma Asked every worker of all 13 seats to Work Hard

SANGRUR: The Punjab BJP has decided to contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on its own. The Announcement was made in BJP Working Committee Meeting which was held in Sangrur, Punjab. Punjab BJP state president Ashwani Sharma asked every worker of all 13 seats to work hard. 

The Punjab BJP executive meeting was attended by Punjab leaders as well as national leaders. The meeting continued from morning till late evening. Meanwhile, state president Ashwani Sharma in his address invited the workers to inform about the achievements of the Modi government in 9 years, the works done for the welfare of the country, the benefits received by every class through various schemes and other public welfare works. 

The Punjab BJP recently broke away from the Shiromani Akali Dal and contested the Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-election. BJP stood fourth in this contest. It is worth mentioning here that SAD contested the elections in alliance with the BSP and stood at third spot in the results.

Notablly, Sushil Kumar Rinku, who left Congress and joined AAP, won by more than 57,000 votes. While, on the second spot was Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary, the candidate of Punjab Congress and the wife of former late MP Santokh Singh Chaudhary.
