AMRITSAR: The Border Security Force personnel have recovered a shipment of about 5 kg of heroin. The international price of which is said to be around Rs 35 crore. It is feared that this consignment has also been dropped by Pakistani drones. In an another case, a farmer has found a drone in the fields in Amritsar district.  

According to the information received, farmers were harvesting wheat in their fields near the barbed wire in Bachiwind village under Lopoke in Amritsar sector late on Friday evening. The farmer suddenly found a drone. A packet was also attached to the drone.

The farmers immediately informed the police. The police team reached the spot and took possession of the drone. Along with this, samples of the consignment have also been sent for forensic examination.
