Police Arrests WPD Chief Amritpal Singh's Associate Varinder Khalsa

ABOHAR: The Punjab Police is on a hunt of 'Waris Punjab De' chief Amritpal Singh and many of his associates or elements associated with the organisation. The police have arrested Amritpal Singh's close associate Varinder Singh Khalsa. This arrest has taken place from the Khui Khera village in Abohar.

It is being claimed that earlier Varinder Singh Khalsa was detained at home and after that a case was registered against him. According to information, Varinder Singh Khalsa is a part of 'Waris Punjab de' organization and is also close to Amritpal Singh. A case has been registered against Varinder under section 107 and 151. He has been produced in the court today. Varinder Khalsa said, "We have fully cooperated with the police but they have oppressed me."

Notably, Punjab Police has launched search operation for Amritpal Singh. His associates are being detained or arrested one after another. Therefore, a list has been prepared under which this action is being implemented. 8 teams of NIA have also reached Punjab, which have prepared the list in which Amritpal Singh's teammates have been divided into A, B, and C categories.
