CHANDIGARH: A hearing was held today in the High Court regarding the Amritpal Singh case and the Punjab government has submitted its response in which they said that the NSA has been invoked against Amritpal Singh.

In this regard, Amritpal Singh's father Tarsem Singh interacted with the media and said, "We are afraid that Amritpal Singh's life is in danger. It can't be possible that the other accused got caught and Amritpal Singh escaped. I don't know why he is not being brought forward."

Talking further, Tarsem Singh said, "The police is creating stories and registering false cases against Amritpal Singh. We wanted to file a petition in the High Court before but our house was sealed."

Answering the question, Tarsem Singh said that his brother Harjit Singh had surrendered to the police on his request. He added, "We are not fugitives. We fear that Amritpal Singh is already in police custody and his life is in danger."
