Punjab Summer Vacation Holidays News: Schools To Remain Closed From May 21
Punjab School Summer Vacation Holidays News: In view of the severe heatwaves, the Punjab Government on Monday announced summer vacations in Punjab Schools from May 21 as a precautionary measure for the welfare of children.
Earlier, the Punjab Government had announced a revision in the timings of schools due to the scorching heatwave as a proactive measure to ensure the safety and well-being of students. As per the order, the schools for students in Punjab were to be opened from 7 am to 12 noon from May 20th to 31st.
However, the heatwave is turning out to be severe and hence, the Punjab Government declared summer vacation in the whole of Punjab from May 21, 2024.
