Centre Seeks Report From Punjab Govt About Sidhu Moosewala's Mother's IVF Treatment
Here's what the notice issued to the Punjab Government by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare reads.
Centre Govt Asked Information About Sidhu Moosewala's Mother's IVF Treatment: On Tuesday night, Balkaur Singh, the late father of Sidhu Moosewala, shared a video on social media in which he claimed that the Punjab Government has been asking for information about the Charan Kaur's IVF treatment which was down in Punjab. However, it was the Central Government that sought a report from the Punjab government.
The notice issued to the Punjab Government by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare reads:
"1. Refer to the subject mentioned above and in this regard, I would like to inform you that this Department has come across the news published by the Hindustan Times on 27.02.2023. In the article, it is mentioned that Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala's mother Smt. Charan Singh went to IVF treatment for conceiving a baby via IVF at the age of 58 years.
2. Under Section 21(g) (i) of the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act, 2021 the age limit prescribed for a woman going under ART Services is between 21-50 years.
3. Therefore, you are requested to look into the matter and submit a report to this department of the action taken in this case as per the ART (Regulation) Act, 2021."
Earlier, Balkaur Singh had issued a video and slammed the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for asking the video about the same. However, it seemed they were misinformed as it was the Central Government that asked for the information.
It may be recalled that Sidhu Moosewala's mother Charan Kaur recently welcomed a baby boy who has also been named Shubhdeep Singh. The fans have gone crazy and everyone is saying that it is Sidhu who has returned.
