Police Arrests 2 Drug Smugglers

ABOHAR: The Police of CIA Staff-2 in Abohar city have arrested two drug smugglers with 18 grams of heroin and drug money of Rs 14,500. The City Police has registered a case against the arrested accused. 

Investigating officer ASI Milkraj said that during the patrol, they were going from Abohar to Navi Abadi Azamgarh via Link Road Bypass. The police party noticed two youths riding on a motorcycle who took U-turn after witnessing the police officials. According to the ASI, while trying to escape, the bike slipped and they fell down. 

Reports said that the youths were arrested and searched on the basis of suspicion. Heroin and drugs were recovered from their possession. The accused have been identified as Jora Singh son of Sukhdev Singh and Balveer Singh son of Sham Singh, residents of village Khui Khera Rukanpura of Abohar, Ferozepur district.
