Chandigarh: State Vigilance Bureau today nabbed a Sukhmani Singh Advocate working in Sub-Registrar (East) Office, Ludhiana red handed while accepting bribe of Rs 9,500.

Disclosing this here an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that the accused was arrested on the complaint of Amandeep Singh of village Jagirpur, Raho Road, Ludhiana.

After verifying his information, a vigilance team from Ludhiana laid a trap and the accused Sukhmani Singh was arrested on the spot taking bribe of RsĀ 9,500 from the complainant as second installment in the presence of two official witnesses.
