Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Pays Floral Tributes To Baba Banda Singh Bahadur On His Birthday, News: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan, on October 16, paid floral tributes to Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Ji on the occasion of His 355th birth anniversary at the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Secretariat.
The speaker was accompanied by MLA Rana Inder Partap Singh, MLA Fauja Singh Sarari, Secretary Punjab Vidhan Sabha Ram Lok Khatana, and other staff members.
Sandhwan highlighted that Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Ji was a great warrior who dedicated His entire life for the welfare of humanity.
“Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Ji was the founder of the first Sikh rule in Punjab, who abolished the zamindari system and provided ownership rights to the tillers of land. His memories will always remain in our hearts,” the Sandhwan sai,d according to a press release by the Information and Public Relations Department, Punjab.
“We should follow the path as shown by Him,” he added.
