AMRITSAR: The Border Security Force (BSF) has updated the timing for the iconic Beating the Retreat Ceremony, a daily event held at the Attari Wagah border, much to the anticipation of enthusiastic spectators. The spokesperson for BSF revealed that the ceremony, which was previously scheduled to commence at 6:00 PM, will now kick off at 5:30 PM.

This Adjustment in timing is in sync with the changing lengths of days based on the seasons. During the summer, when days are longer, the parade commences later, while in winter, as days shorten, the ceremony begins earlier.
