Navdeep Jalbera Granted Bail by Punjab and Haryana High Court: In a major development, Navdeep Jalbera has been granted bail by the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday.
According to information, the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday granted bail to Navdeep Jalbera in FIR no. 40/2024.
It may be recalled that the farmer activist Navdeep Singh Jalbera was arrested by the Haryana Police in March in connection with an FIR registered during the farmers' "Delhi Chalo" protest in February.
His arrest came ahead of a gathering convened by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (non-political) and Kisan Mukti Morcha (KMM) to pay homage to Shubhkaran Singh (21), a farmer from Punjab's Bathinda who was killed in a violent clash with police at the Punjab-Haryana border on February 21.
Likewise, the Ambala Police arrested Navdeep Jalbera from Mohali in March.
