Chandigarh: The wife and son of Punjab Cabinet Minister Tript Rajinder Bajwa, too, tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday after the minister’s reports turns out to be positive.
Samples were taken from Punjab Cabinet Ministers for testing of corona at Punjab Bhawan yesterday amid growing outbreak of cases of coronavirus.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh had also got his coronavirus tested yesterday, the report of which was negative.
It may be recalled that Corona's wrath continues in Punjab. In the last 24 hours, there have been eight more deaths and 300 new cases.
The death toll has now risen to 224. The total number of positive cases has also crossed 8800. So far, 5867 patients have been cured from the deadly virus.
